If you can go to work in the morning with a smile on your face thinking about what is going to happen that day then you must be happy, don’t you think so? It’s not surprising. We Deborah and Gregor plus our team have good reason to feel so. Because as water sports enthusiasts we are doing what we love: Inspiring others to share our passion. Therefor we are constantly working ambitiously on our abilities in the various sport disciplines. Both as coaches or instructors as well as sporting role models

The enjoyment of water sports is just as important to us as the safety of our guests. Our own high powered motor boat is always on the water ready for action in case of any – never to be fully ruled out – possible emergency. Daily safety checks as well as First Aid training are a matter of course in our work. We explain the particularities of the area to everyone and keep a watchful eye on our students and customers at all times. In addition, our bay is under constant observation from a military station next to the lighthouse. All catamaran trips are equipped with a radio telephone for communication with the base. That’s all very reassuring for you, isn’t it? And for us, too.

The surf station La Chiappa was the first windsurfing school on Corsica – founded in the 1970/80s by the German surf pioneers Ernstfried Prade and Yola Bichler.
From the very outset it was clear to Deborah and me that we wanted to set up a water sports centre with an extensive range for the whole family. Working with children and young people is a particular pleasure for us. Anyone who has seen minis and teens on the water and their amazing ability to learn so quickly knows what we mean.
But of course: Water sports are for all ages. And they bring all ages together. Fathers, mothers, couples or singles of all ages. Just have a go!! A trial lesson with us has turned quite a few couch potatoes into keen students who return to us for a holiday again and again.
